Hours later, Vail's Keystone named Friday, Oct. 30, as its opening day, with more than 2 miles of terrain off the River Run Gondola and Montezuma Express. Both resorts had been behind last year's pace a few days ago. (Alterra, Colorado Sun, Vail Resorts)
