Top line: Honda used the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan to unveil the RN0, its first high-end electric mountain bike, developed with German e-MTB maker ROTWILD. The bike weighs about 24 kg on a carbon monocoque frame with a gull-arm swingarm, and it runs a new Shimano drive unit that weighs 2.3 kg and makes 100 Nm of torque and 750 W peak, paired with a 720 Wh battery. A motorcycle giant entering premium e-MTB, and Shimano debuting a full-power motor on someone else's launch stage, are both worth watching as Bosch and DJI's Avinox fight for the top of the market. Pricing and availability weren't in Honda's release. (Honda)
